Overview
Ghibli Chat App is a real-time chat experience that lets people connect using email rather than a phone number. It includes straightforward authentication, messaging, and media sharing for everyday conversations.
Why it exists
I built this as my first large project to understand how a complete real-time product comes together, from authentication to data storage and live updates.
What I owned
I owned the frontend and backend implementation, including the Firebase authentication flow, Firestore data model, and storage integration.
