Overview
OpenDebate gives two AI debaters the same topic, lets them independently research opposing positions, and orchestrates a structured debate through openings, rebuttals, cross-examination, and closing arguments.
Why it exists
The project explores fairer multi-agent reasoning by separating research, debate orchestration, and evaluation, while using an anonymized AI judge to reduce positional bias.
What I owned
I designed the debate state machine, AI debater and judge pipeline, isolated parallel research, structured score validation, and real-time SSE streaming system.
